Veera Dheera Sooran is an upcoming Indian Tamil film directed by Suseenthiran featuring Vishnu, Sri Divya and Surabhi in the lead cast.

Production

Soon after wrapping up production works of Rajapattai, Suseenthiran announced in October 2011 that he would shortly start his next venture featuring Vishnu. The film titled Veera Dheera Sooran was said to be an original story, to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu. In early 2012, it was reported that director Pandiraj would write the film's dialogues. However the director opted to concentrate on other projects before starting the film.
Production work on the film began again in August 2013. Sri Divya was signed on to play a college girl in the film after the director was impressed with her performance in Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam. Surabhi, who debuted in Ivan Veramathiri was signed as another heroine.
Title of the film was changed to Jeeva in January 2014. It is revealed that film will be based on cricket. In February 2014, a song sequence featuring Vishnu, Sri Divya and Soori was shot within the campus of Chettinad Health City, Kelambakkam

Vishnu is an Indian film actor who has appeared in Tamil language films. He started his acting career, playing the lead role in the sports film Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, winning acclaim for his portrayal. Vishnu won further acclaim for his role in Neerparavai (2012), portraying a fisherman.

Early life and family

Vishnu Vishal was born to Ramesh Kudawla, an ADGP in the Tamil Nadu police. After completing his MBA, he went on to become a cricketer, playing in j for Tamil Nadu. However a leg injury ended his cricket career and the actor noted that during the time he was bedridden, he started watching films and began an interest in an acting career. His father uncle had been an actor in several small films and he shaped Vishnu's interest in the industry.

Career

After being offered a role by Anand Chakravarthy in Suseendran's directorial debut Vennila Kabaddi Kuzhu, Vishnu spent months preparing for the role. He had to tan himself sitting for hours in the sun to get dark and look like a player and then for 3 months he trained for kabbadi matches under a coach, for five hours a day. The film opened to very positive reviews, with Vishnu earning a nomination from the Vijay Awards for Best Debut Actor. He had two releases in 2010, portraying an action role in the comedy Bale Pandiya and then played a rowdy from Royapuram in Drohi. Featuring alongside Srikanth in the latter, Vishnu had to put on 15 kg to look mature for the role.
Vishnu is currently working in Kalukkuray Maapla directed by Suresh, which features Bindu Madhavi alongside him. He is also filming Mundaasupatti under Thirukumaran Entertainment. Moreover, the actor will be seen in Suseenthiran's Veera Dheera Sooran  and has signed Seenu Ramasamy's Idam Porul Eval too.

Sri Divya is an Indian film and television actress, who acts in Tamil and Telugu films.

Early life

Sri Divya was born in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She has one sister, Sri Ramya, who also acts in Telugu and Tamil films. Sri Divya has studied in the Kendriya Vidyalaya.

Career

Sri Divya started her career at the age of three and has acted as a child artist in nearly ten Telugu films. She has also acted in Telugu television serials.
She made her debut as a heroine in the 2010 Telugu romance film Manasara, directed by Ravi Babu, but the film was a failure. Then she featured in the film Bus Stop (2012) directed by Maruthi, co-starring Prince, which was successful at the box office. It was followed by Mallela Theeram Lo Sirimalle Puvvu in which she played a lonely wife who falls in love with a writer. About her performance, The Hindu wrote, "she looks very charming; the cotton saris bring out the grace in her". Idlebrain.com wrote, "Sri Divya epitomizes the character of an idealistic and independent woman. She did well and deserves applause". Postnoon wrote, "Sri Divya is a wonderful actress and she suits the role of Lakshmi".
Her Tamil debut was Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam opposite Siva Karthikeyan, which was directed by Ponram. Sri Divya received very positive reviews from critics for her performance. Baradwaj Rangan wrote, "the actress is good. She knows the language, knows how to work a reaction shot, and she looks like she belongs in this milieu. It will be interesting to see what Tamil cinema makes of her". The Times of India wrote, "But the real surprise is debutant Sri Divya, who, is expressive, and can lip-sync very well, which isn't the case with most of our heroines today". The New Indian Express wrote, "As Latha, debutant Sridivya emotes well, infusing the character with innocence, charm and naughtiness".
Her upcoming films are Kaatu Malli, which was her first Tamil film, and Nagarpuram. She has also been signed up for the films Pencil, Suseenthiran's next titled Veera Dheera Sooran  and Eetti.
